I remember Ken as a cheerful guy, but mostly I remember him from music. We were in band and orchestra together, grades 7-9, and maybe beyond, but I think I quit in 10th. In any case, I remember him best through the music experience we shared--and to my pleasant surprise, and maybe yours, too, Ken was a talented singer-songwriter. So here's a nice way to remember him, and somehow, I think he'll know it. http://www.kencollinsmusic.com/
I agree with Jim. Ken was a wondeful drum major and leader in the LCHS marching band and music program. He was also a darn good singer-actor on stage, as I remember from his performance in PLAIN AND FANCY. He was also conistently friendly to and supportive of those around him. I am not the least bit surprised to hear about the kind of attorney he was nor about his career in music. All of us were better off -- and still are -- because Ken Collins was our classmate.
